One of Alabama's finest: Yelawolf
Alabama hasn't had many rappers to be proud of ( and I know because I'm from the state). Albeit one-sided, we have Rich Boy. Now we have Alabama native Yelawolf, and he reps for Alabama proudly (unlike Gucci Mane who hides he's from Alabama). He comes with the co-signs the other freshman have, but one of them really impressed me. He has a song with Raekwon the Chef himself on his mix-album "Trunk Muzik". Raekwon doesn't take his collaborations lightly. On the song with the chef, he talks about how black and white southern culture are united a lot of times through the music. Yelawolf said it best himself, "my sound is a mix between Lynard Skynard & Outkast." I agree Yelawolf.

dope fact: He has two aliases, "Catfish Billy" and "Ricky Bobby"
